The Georgia Volunteer Health Care Program (GVHCP) is the state program that lets volunteer clinicians treat eligible patients. This quiz is a screen, not a legal determination — the clinic completes the official form in person.

  • You live in Georgia
  • You are uninsured, or you have insurance that does not cover the injury, illness, or condition you need treated
  • Your family income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level

GVHCP screens on gross family income at or below 200% FPL. A deductible is not subtracted from that number. If your plan does not cover this condition, you may still qualify only if income is at or below the limit.

What we can help with

Walk in on a Saturday — no appointment, no insurance, $0.

Everyday adult care — checkups, sick visits, and peace of mind

Send-out lab work — ordered at the clinic, run through a charitable lab account at no cost to you

What we don't do — yet

Honest scope, so you never make a wasted trip.

Emergency care — if it's an emergency, call 911 first
Controlled substances — not prescribed at launch, ever part of the founding scope
In-house tests & vaccines — labs are sent out; no on-site testing or vaccines at launch
An on-site pharmacy — no dispensing at the clinic; prescriptions go to low-cost channels
Children — adults only for now, until a minor-consent policy exists
Surgery & imaging on site — arranged through partner centers instead

Getting your results

Labs and imaging always come back to a person, not a black hole.

Lab results — sent out through a charitable lab account, reviewed by the care team, and shared with you. Anything abnormal gets a call — a named team member owns it, with an after-hours protocol. We never lose an abnormal result.
Imaging — arranged through partner centers at charity or cash rates; mammograms are free through the state's BCCP program. We set it up before you leave.
Your records — they belong to you. Ask at the clinic, or email us and we'll help you get them.
Not a portal — a help desk.This page answers questions and points you onward. When our clinics add a real patient portal for results and records, it will be linked right here.

Do I need insurance?+
No — never. The clinic exists for neighbors without insurance, or with insurance they can't afford to use.
Do I need an appointment?+
No. Every clinic we launch runs Saturday mornings, walk-in — first come, first seen. Exact hours publish with each location.
What does it cost?+
$0 — every visit, every patient. No bills, no copays, no surprises.
Who can be seen?+
Uninsured or underinsured Georgia adults at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. Not sure? Check in 3 questions — or just come; no one is turned away without a conversation.
Can I get my medical records?+
Yes — your records belong to you. Ask at the front desk on any Saturday, or email admin@cliniccombinator.org and we'll help.
What if I need care the clinic can't provide?+
You leave with a referral handout — the specialist, imaging center, or program, with the who-where-how on paper — and we confirm the loop closed. Emergencies: call 911.
